This add-in for Microsoft Outlook, notifies users sending e-mails referencing an attached document, if no document has been attached. Once a user chooses “Send” the add-in evaluates the e-mail and looks for all occurrences of predetermined terms that are set in the registry.
As an example, Attachment Check™ is configured to look for the terms "Attachment" or "Attachments". When users send e-mails using either of these terms, Attachment Check will scan the e-mail searching for the terms, if no attachment is located, the user will be prompted prior to sending the e-mail. The scan process is quick and easy, without user involvement. Search terms can be added and edited. Administrators can configure one workstation using our administrator utility, save it to the registry, and push it to all workstations.
Attachment Check™ reduces embarrassing mistakes by preventing users from sending e-mails without an intended attachment within Outlook.
