Add-In for Autonomy iManage Prevents Unauthorized Folder Creation to Maintain Business Logic and Design
Geller Data Solutions, Inc. (GDSI) announces the launch of Folder Prevention 2.0, a software solution for Autonomy iManage, allowing IT administrators to define business rules to prevent users from creating public or private folders within a workspace.
By applying simple business logic, based on administrative preferences and rules, administrators can limit users ability to create public and private folders. The three-tier architecture of Folder Prevention 2.0, allows an administrative push of security to each desktop.
"A number of firms have reached out to us expressing their frustrations with over-cluttered workspaces and the frequent creation of random private folders. We decided we would produce an administrative product to tackle this issue.”, said Eddie Fernandes, Director of Sales and Marketing at GDSI.
